4. Other Properties OF ASTM B564 Inconel 600
- Cold Working– Inconel 600 are very ductile and can be easily cold world by deep drawing, Forging, upsetting, bending etc . It may require immediate annealing and pickling. High Hardness and strength is achieved should cold working
- Heat Theatment – 600 can me exposed to heated in the range of 1800 °F to 2150°F following rapid cool to avoid sensitization. Inconel 600 stablaized at 940°C and Softest structure can be obtained at 980°c
- Weldability – Incoloy 600 is considered as weldable by common fusion and resistance technique .
- Formability – Inconel 600 is highly formability due to its combination of lower strength and shapes
